Our Regional Applications Centre consists of extensive Pilot Plant facilities, equipped with specialised and unique equipment to accurately replicate factory trials in the following segments:

Meat / Poultry / Seafood

We have meat specialists with a combined experience of well over 100 years in the industry who understand the complexities of meat processing.

Work experience and expertise of our meat specialists include, amongst others, production management, research and development, quality assurance, factory management, new product development and technical management. Their qualifications range from Bachelors’ to Masters Degrees and some are published authors.

The meat applications pilot plant located within the Regional Applications Centre for Asia-Pacific has equipment that allows us to manufacture all types of processed meat, poultry and seafood products. This includes fermented products as well as canned meat products. Some of the specialised equipment we have available include, but are not limited to:

Bakery / Noodles / Cereals

The Regional Application Centre is the one-stop-shop for producing, trialling and evaluating a range of grain based products as it is well equipped with:

  • Udon Noodle Machine
  • Pasta Extruder & Drier
  • Steamed Bun Machine
  • Baking Oven

Our Cereal Specialist has a PhD and over 25 years’ experience working extensively on grain based products such as noodle types (Instant, Udon, Ramen, Hokkien), baked goods (hi-top breads, flat breads, wraps, cakes, biscuits), steamed buns, pasta, breakfast cereals, muesli bars and more.

The team has practical experience developing new products in the FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) environment, appreciating the pressure of manufacturing, new raw material introduction, processing challenges, packaging and retail demands.


Dairy & Beverages

We have the ingredients, facilities and expertise to assist food processing companies to develop new products and bring them to the market place.

We offer global support in the areas of processed cheese, cream cheese, cheese sauces, milk processing, beverages, yogurt, dairy desserts and spray drying of dairy ingredients.

Our Dairy Specialist has over 20 years’ experience in the dairy industry, working in various countries and in various roles, implementing a range of dairy specific solutions for customers.

Savoury

Our facilities include a fully equipped kitchen with modern commercial and domestic kitchen equipment, where we can replicate most cooking and processing scenarios.

The innovative products created by the Savoury Team are also showcased and presented in our Culinary Kitchen in an informal and interactive environment.

The Savoury Team are always up to date with the latest global trends and consumer insights and new flavour and savoury solutions are created being mindful of the commercial, regulatory and functional requirements for every customer.
